Control Design Engineer

Job description

We are seeking talented and self-starter team members who have experience working as a Control Design Engineer.

As a Control Design Engineerworking in OPLOG, you will be responsible for the

  • design, integration and verification of servo subsystems,
  • development of motion control algorithms,
  • integration of sensors and actuators in servo subsystems used in different types of autonomous mobile robots.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated from Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Electronics or Control Engineering Departments or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in servo motion control systems and algorithms,
  • Interest in autonomous mobile robots (AMR) industry,
  • Domain expertise in at least 3 of the following areas:

    • Digital signal processing and data acquisition
    • System identification
    • Parameter optimization
    • Communication interfaces and protocols
    • Embedded software design and compilation
    • System Dynamics

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM development process, requirement capture, and tracking, issue tracking (e.g. JIRA, etc.) is an advantage
  • Familiarity with Confluence pages and integrate JIRA issues with Confluence pages is an advantage,
  • Experience in Matlab Simulink, Stateflow, or similar modeling tools is an advantage,
